Maninjau is one stunning lake in Indonesia. This lake is a volcanic lake located at an altitude of 461.50 meters above sea level. The extent of about 99.5 km and 495 meters depth.
The lake is located in the district of Tanjung Raya, Agam regency, West Sumatra. Location nature Maninjau also consists of hills and peaks called Puncak Lawang. Maninjau is also known as Single Nine legend.
Nine Single legend is said to be the origin Maninjau formed. Legend tells of one family consisting of 9 men and 1 woman flunky. Prempuan named Sani, its beauty captured the heart of a young man named Sigiran.
