Lifts in malls and other high-rise buildings is common. But in Zhangjiajie, China, there is an elevator on the outside of the cliffs hundreds of meters tall. Bailong Elevator is the world's highest outdoor lift. Wow!
You ever see a lift on the outside of the cliff towering hundreds of feet? Turns out it is not impossible. Let's say you come to the Wulingyuan area of Zhangjiajie City, Hunan, China.
Lift the glass is also claimed as an outdoor glass elevator in the world. These lifts will take the traveler on the top of a cliff with a height of 330 meters. Bailong Elevator also managed to get three Guinness World Records, the world's highest outdoor elevator, world's tallest travel lift with a double deck, and lift the fastest with the largest capacity in the world, quoted from Zhangjiajie Tourism.
Bailong Elevator, also known as the Hundred Dragons Elevators, the only one who can bring the traveler elevator ride up to the top of the cliff. Each lift is made of glass, so that the traveler can see the surrounding landscape clearly.

Lift was first opened in 2000 after it was created in 1999. But unfortunately, with the Bailong Elevator just sticking criticism from environmentalists. Yes, because the elevator is in the middle of that became one of Wulingyuan World Heritage Site by UNESCO.
In the region there are about 3,000 Wulingyuan cliffs formed from sandstone and towering as high as 200 meters. Rock cliffs is situated among ravines, gorges, rivers, and waterfalls.
