As Vegas has over 300 days of sunshine a year its recommended that you pay a visit to Wet N Wild water park. Situated just 30 minutes away from the famous strip, the park offers over 25 different slides, varying in sizes making it perfect for the whole family.
Secret Garden and Dolphin Habitat
As part of the Mirage Hotel complex, the venue is home to different species of tigers, lions and leopards for all to enjoy. If you are more interested in sea life then there are dolphins as well. Each swim in over 12million gallons of water so there is ample room as well as a great viewing platform.
Hershey’s Chocolate World
For those who have a sweet tooth the Hershey’s Chocolate World is a must see. With a waterfall of sweets and over 800 types of Hershey chocolate it will certainly keep the kids entertained.
Adventuredome at Circus Circus
The Adventuredome has something for everyone, ranging from clown shows, laser tag, bumper cars and a pretty impressive arcade. As part of the Circus Circus complex it is situated under a huge glass roof, making it the biggest indoor theme park in the USA.
Madame Tussauds
With its array of wax figurines, your children will have a chance to view some of their favourite singers, sports stars and super hero’s. If the 100 different wax figurines aren’t enough then you could always go on the 4-D Marvel ride, where any wannabe Spidermen can get a taste of some action.
The Aquarium at the Silverton Hotel
If your family wish to visit something a little more nautical then the Silverton Hotels Aquarian is the ideal place to go. With over 160 different species of fish on show and the educational material available your children will learn lots about life under the sea.
Lake Mead
As one of the largest manmade lakes in the Western Hemisphere, Lake Mead offers 820 miles of shoreline and a staggering 1.5 million acres of land to explore. In terms of entertainment you can hire boats, swim in the lake or enjoy a hike.
Discovery Children's Museum
This is certainly one of the more fun-packed child friendly venues in Las Vegas, it is a great place to take the young ones for an afternoon. The museum is spread across three floors with exhibits ranging from Fantasy Festival, Water World and the Summit.
Adventure Canyon at Buffalo Bill's
The Adventure Canyon is the greatest water ride in Vegas, with a huge 35 foot drop to soak anyone who want stop give it a ride. This may not be suitable for the younger ones but any teens will enjoy it.
