After a fire engine on Sunday (10/2) morning, Carnival Triumph cruise ship could not continue the journey. 4,000 passengers adrift in the ocean.
Passengers suffer with clogged toilet and forced to hold a mattress on the deck due to swelter. To entertain the passengers, Carnival Triumph allow passengers to bring home a used bathrobe for passengers on board,
"Of course, bathrobes free of Carnival Triumph," read the official Twitter account @ carnivalcruise as reported by The Sydney Morning Herald, Tuesday (02/19/2013).
But rather than welcomed, even at Carnival Cruise-bully on Twitter. "Who wants to smell bathrobe?" tweet someone in North Carolina, Astrid Martinez.
While other Twitter users, Natalie Eshaya, quipped, "Oh, well deh." While Paul Nather on Twitter also even want to sell it on eBay bathrobes.
Bathrobes nightmare became a symbol of passengers while on a cruise. They use it to attract attention while standing on a yacht bobbing.
Not just a bathrobe, Carnival Triumph company also promised to refund the money, offering another trip to the passengers, and provide cost tranasportasi home. Travelers also receive a compensation fee of U.S. $ 500 (Rp 4.8 million).
But passengers suffering has not ended. The bus that took them to New Orleans broke down in the middle of the road. There was also a passenger lost items. Not surprisingly, less than 24 hours after the passengers were evacuated, some of them immediately filed suit.
