Members of Parliament it was Richard Prosser of New Zealand First Party. He wrote a column in the magazine and said Islam was a religion of terrorists is the stone age and young Muslims are angry and hate the West.
"When you're young, aged around 19-35 years old, and you look like a Muslim or Muslim or come from a Muslim country, you should not be traveling by plane belongs to the west," Prosser wrote.
New Zealand Prime Minister spoke directly. He said inappropriate Prosser said such a thing. Even the Chairman of the New Zealand First Party, Winston Peters considers Prosser holds extreme and only saw one side only.
"It's extreme views on issues that are very extreme. Guy can not hit so flat. Majority of Muslims were law-abiding and peace-loving," said Peters.
Peters did not say whether Prosser will be given disciplinary action. Prosser column in the magazine seems to address an incident at Christchurch Airport. Airport security officer confiscated a Swiss knife of a young Muslim traveler.
Former Labour politicians Kelvin Davis tweeted his opinion about Prosser. He quoted Mark Twain: "Better to be silent and thought a fool, than lot of speak and found out it's stupid."
