Millions of mosques scattered in various parts of the world. Among them, Quba Mosque in Medina, being the oldest. Prophet Muhammad laid the first stone in the 6th century BC. Quba Mosque still stands majestically today.
Haram is a long history since the time of Prophet Ibrahim, but the first mosque in the history of Islam is the Quba Mosque. Well, if you visit Madinah, try heading to the gates about 5 Km west of Masjid Nabawi. Not many tourists are aware, they are confronted with the oldest mosques in the world.
This is the Quba Mosque, whose construction was completed in 622 AD. From the official website of Quba Mosque, laying the first stone by the Prophet Muhammad. At that time the Prophet Muhammad spent 20 days in the mosque, when being moved from Makkah to Madinah.

Because of the age of the elderly, the mosque was rebuilt in 1982. In 2012, Masjid Quba back restored and enlarged. Local government poured 100 million Riyal (USD 2.6 billion) to rebuild the oldest mosques in the world.
Now, Quba Mosque covers 2 floors. In addition to prayer area, there is also an office and a library. Travelers do not have to worry about going here, there is a hotel that is located around Masjid Quba. Madinah Moevenpick Hotel, Marriott Madinah, and Shaza Al Madina are some of them.
